EVC formed through a 50/50 joint venture between ICI and EniChem. Acquisition of the vinyls technology and licensing business of the Stauffer Chemical Company of America. |

Construction of Intergen power plant at ICI Runcorn Site. Completion of multi-million pound Environmental Improvement Project. Transfer of production assets from ICI to EniChem. EVC floated on the Amsterdam Stock Exchange. Acquisition of the VCM plant in Runcorn (UK) from ICI to be rejuventated and expanded. Acquisition of BSL’s PVC assets at Schkopau, Germany. |

INEOS acquires ICI Chlor-Chemicals and forms INEOS Chlor. INEOS acquires majority shareholding in EVC. |

INEOS Chlor divided into INEOS Chlor and INEOS Enterprises. |

EVC becomes wholly owned by INEOS. INEOS completes acquisition of EVC from shareholders and forms INEOS Vinyls. |

Completion of new boiler plant and cellroom projects.
Creation of INEOS ChlorVinyls join management board and business brand. |
