INEOS Oligomers has selected Palmer Holland as their new U.S. distributor for its line of Indopol® polybutenes (PIB), effective May 1, 2013. Indopol polybutenes are synthetic liquid hydrocarbon polymers available in a wide range of viscosities. Used in lubricants, adhesive and sealants, rubber compounding, surface coatings, personal care products, and pharmaceuticals; these applications take advantage of polybutenes’ unique properties. 

“Our Indopol brand has been the leading line of polybutenes over the last 60 years and many of the applications were developed by INEOS Oligomers. Therefore, the selection of the right distributor to promote this brand was a very important decision to us,” stated Jan Vermeersch, INEOS Oligomers Global Business Manager for PIB.

INEOS Oligomers was looking for a partner that would continue to provide a high level of customer service and support, and a philosophy on stock holding that meant its customers would receive prompt responses to their needs. It felt Palmer Holland exemplified these values and would make an excellent distributor for Indopol products.
