INEOS Breagh’s licences are primarily focused in the UK Southern North Sea and include the operated Breagh and Clipper South fields, which represent the majority of our daily SNS gas production. We also operate, or are partners in, several other SNS Licences. In addition, INEOS Breagh is a partner in the non-operated gas condensate Devenick Field in the Northern North Sea and the Mustard oil discovery to the West of Shetland.
The Breagh Field spans licence P1320 and P1328 within the Quad 42 area of the UK Southern North Sea. P1320 was awarded in the 22nd Round and P1328 is a 23rd Round licence. First gas from the Breagh field was in 2013.
In addition, INEOS currently operates a number of nearby exploration/appraisal licences in Quad 42.
Clipper South, in Quad 48 of the UK Southern North Sea, straddles licences P008, P465 and P1909. P008 is a 1st Round licence and P465 is an 8th Round, with P1909 being awarded in the 26th Round.
Production from the Clipper South Field commenced in 2012.
P607 is a 10th Round licence containing the INEOS Breagh operated Cavendish gas field. This Carboniferous field, which began production in 2007, is exported through the Murdoch Facilities and CMS pipeline to the Theddlethorpe Gas Terminal.
