Rob Nevin to become CEO of INEOS Nitriles
Rob Nevin is to be appointed as CEO of INEOS Nitriles and will take up the position with immediate effect.
Rob has over 25 years of commercial experience in the petrochemical business and has worked in polymers in the US and Europe, Olefins, Ethylene Oxide and Derivatives, and Business Development. He joined BP in 1981 as a graduate engineer and has spent over half of his career in manufacturing at various BP sites. Following the acquisition of Innovene by INEOS last year Rob took up the role as Business Director of INEOS Olefins.
Commenting on the appointment Tony Verrijckt Chairman of INEOS Nitriles said: “This was a straightforward choice for us and a natural progression for Rob. He has the experience and capability to provide the leadership that is needed to fully integrate the Nitriles business and continue its growth within INEOS.“
Rob takes over from Peter Cella who moved to BASF.
An Announcement on a successor to Rob Nevin as Business Director, Ineos Olefins will be made in due course.
