INEOS Olefins & Polymers agrees contract with plastics recycle company Viridor
INEOS Olefins and Polymers has today announced an agreement with Viridor, one of the UK’s leading recycling and waste management companies, to source thousands of tonnes of polymer from a new recycling plant to come online in 2020. Viridor’s new £65m plant at Avonmouth will be the largest of its kind in the UK.
Recycled plastic from the plant will be incorporated into a new range of INEOS polymers engineered to meet consumer demands for increased use of recycled materials without compromising customer needs for product performance and quality.

Applying INEOS polymer expertise, we have engineered a new range of polymers incorporating high levels of recycled plastics from this new unit. These new polymers will meet the growing consumer demand for increased levels of recycled content and our customer requirements to maintain product performance and quality.”
The new products from INEOS will contain 50% recycled content will be available later this year.
