LNG
Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG)
In June 2022 INEOS Energy entered into the LNG market; signing a 20-year agreement with US firm Sempra Infrastructure to supply 1.4 million tonnes of LNG per annum from the US Gulf Coast. We will be selling this out to both our own INEOS businesses but also to customers globally. The technology behind this follows a process of liquefaction, shipping finishing off with the regasification stage.
