Aromatics introduces INEOS to China customers
INEOS’ Aromatics business used a recent industry event in China to introduce itself as the INEOS brand for the first time since its acquisition from bp, share a continued commitment to the PTA value chain and talk about future partnership opportunities.
Our Aromatics team in China are a leading supplier of PTA, used in the production of essential polyester goods.
The twentieth China Chemical Fiber Forum was hosted by CCF, a leading industry consultancy, in early April in Hangzhou, in the Zhejiang province. Approximately fifty customers joined the team for a gala dinner, where Steve Dossett, the CEO of INEOS Aromatics, speaking by video due to COVID-19 restrictions, shared the INEOS values and Aromatics’ commitment to high value solutions to customers in this important sector and exciting region economically.
Bill Zhao, INEOS Aromatics Asia Business Director, went on to introduce the INEOS group and the history of the INEOS PTA business, emphasising the role our customers have played in that journey and our hopes to continue working closely with them as business partners in the future.
INEOS Aromatics China Commercial Head, Jeffrey Ji, also accepted an invitation from the Zhengzhou Commodity Exchange to share INEOS’ view on the evolving landscape in the PTA industry.
