INEOS to support Enfants sans Douleur

As OGC Nice’s new principal sponsor, INEOS has confirmed today that it will also support the club’s Endowment Fund through its ‘Enfants sans Douleur’ programme. For every goal scored, INEOS will donate 200 Euros to Le Gym’s most established community project. Since the start of the season, 800 Euros have already been added to the pot (Nice 2-1 Amiens; Nîmes 1-2 Nice)!

Putting children at the heart of its CSR policy, in the same way as Le Gym has done, and placing a bet on the fact that the season will be full of goals, INEOS will contribute 200 Euros to the OGC Nice Endowment Fund for every goal scored this season (in all competitions). This sum of money will be entirely provided to the ‘Enfants sans Douleur’ programme, which provides annual financial and media support to small local charities that help children and young people, under the patronage of Pierre Lees-Melou since his arrival at the Club in 2017.

There is no doubt that with this support, OGC Nice will be able to intensify its efforts working alongside the families living on the Côte d’Azur who often face horrific challenges on their own. For these families, Le Gym’s goals will now have an even greater value…

The ‘Enfants sans Douleur’ programme

Launched in 2005, the ‘Enfants sans Douleur’ programme aims to financially support and publicise the work of small local charities who help children in hospital, or those suffering from debilitating illnesses.

In order to do so, each season, Le Gym chooses a league match to be entirely dedicated to the programme. One Euro is taken from every ticket sold and this total is complemented by a contribution of €1000 from the OGC Nice Supporters Club. The sum of money is then shared between the various charities and helps to finance the projects put in place to support children and young people in the region.

Once the charities become a member of the programme, they become part of the Red and Black family. But the support from Le Gym doesn’t finish at the end of the season during which the charity joined the ‘Enfants sans Douleur’ programme.

Since 2005, ‘Enfants sans Douleur’ has financially contributed to numerous projects, making donations of in excess of €300,000. Pierre Lees-Melou has been the patron of the programme since the 2017/2018 season.
