Teams celebrate relocations that will support INEOS’ growth in China
INEOS Aromatics and Acetyls colleagues have celebrated their relocation to new offices in Shanghai and Zhuhai, moves that will bring them together with INEOS China colleagues and help them enhance the customer experience.
In Shanghai, teams have relocated to the INEOS office at Central Tower. Bill Zhao of INEOS Aromatics and Alexandre Audouard of INEOS Styrolution hosted a short ‘housewarming’ ceremony, with Steve Dossett, the Aromatics CEO, joining by video. They encouraged the business units to share and develop common solutions to China’s needs, fueling INEOS’ growth in what is an exciting region economically for the long term.
In Zhuhai, Guangdong Province, where we operate our PTA plant, INEOS Aromatics celebrated the relocation of its downtown office in the city. They marked the moment by unveiling new INEOS branding and will continue improving products and services from the new base.
About Zhuhai plant
The Zhuhai plant was established in 1997 and runs three production units with an annual capacity of 2.7 million tons. It is a large-scale key enterprise in Guangdong Province and was one of the top 100 enterprises in Zhuhai in 2020. It produces PTA, which is used by the polyester value chain to produce essential goods such as fibres, textiles, film and polyethylene terephthalate (PET) bottles.
