Caravaning
A high-impact ABS grade suitable for extrusion as well as injection moulding, Terluran® is used in sheet extrusion, which is later thermoformed. It is commonly used for suitcases or roof containers for cars. Luran® S provides exceptional UV resistance, high chemical resistance and colour retention in combination with controllable gloss levels. Used as solid extruded sheet, or as a coextruded “capping” layer on other materials to enhance protection. Impact protection can be further enhanced by use of Terblend® S (ASA/ PA).
Gardening
Luran® S is the material of choice for robotic lawnmower housings, as this highly UV resistant material withstands extreme heat and rain while retaining its high-gloss appearance after years of use. High impact resistance provides additional protection from potential collisions.
