Recycling polystyrene through depolymerisation - follow the journey of a yoghurt cup
To maximise the intrinsic value of polystyrene so that it is not lost forever, INEOS Styrolution is converting post-consumer polystyrene waste back into its building block styrene monomer, through a process called depolymerisation. This can be reused again to make new polystyrene products. With high quality and without any impurities.

Building the best recycled ABS in the world - follow the journey of a coffee machine
To make sure plastics is not wasted and disposed after one use, INEOS Styrolution has optimised a process called mechanical recycling. This is a method by which industrial or post-consumer waste is physically processed back into pellets, without changing the basic chemical structure of the material. Using our expertise, experience and research capabilities as the global leader in styrenics, we produce high-quality recycled ABS that performs as well as non-recycled ABS grades.
