INEOS ANNOUNCES LAUNCH OF OFFERING OF SENIOR SECURED NOTES DUE 2015

Lyndhurst, United Kingdom — April [28], 2010.  INEOS Group Holdings plc (“INEOS”) announced today that its indirect, wholly owned finance subsidiary, INEOS Finance plc, has launched an offering of Senior Secured Notes due 2015 (the “Notes”) in an aggregate principal amount of €700 million equivalent .

The net proceeds from the offering, if completed, are expected to be used to refinance a portion of the outstanding senior indebtedness of the INEOS group.
