The site sits on approximately 101 acres, 45 miles southwest of Chicago on the Des Plaines River and Interstate 55 in Illinois, USA. The site can trace its history back to 1960 when it was developed by Rexene Polymers. The Channahon site is almost completely autonomous with only natural gas and electricity lines running into the site.Today, the Channahon site is also home to the Americas Regional Development Center which drives the improvement of current products and the entry into new markets.

The Channahon site’s products are used in a wide variety of applications and industries, including Healthcare, Packaging, Automotive, Electronics, Household and Construction. End user products include items such as medical vials and tubing, cosmetic cases and containers, automotive grills, interior automotive panels and lighting covers, refrigerator liners and trays, televisions, computers, printers, dishwashers, DVD cases, decking boards, building siding, as well as cups and dinnerware. The site is certified ISO 9001:2008 for quality management and the Regional Development Center holds an ISO/IEC 17025:2005 accreditation for the competence to carry out tests and/or calibrations.
