INEOS has signed a ten year agreement to facilitate innovation and entrepreneurial culture in Switzerland through its support for the EPFL Innogrant programme. Through the ‘INEOS Innogrant’, it will financially support high-potential projects involving EPFL research students and employees.

The EPFL Innogrant programme fits well with INEOS activities in Canton Vaud and the ‘INEOS Innogrant’ award will help encourage innovative projects in the field of green chemistry. 

Since 2005, Innogrants contributed to the creation of more than 30 start-ups in all fields of technology. "INEOS and EPFL are very aware of the challenges faced by entrepreneurs. The creation of new companies is an important part of technology transfer and innovation. Over the past 20 years EPFL has generated over 200 spin-offs. Innogrants further enhances this work by providing encourages the entrepreneurial process from birth to their first ideas,"said Adrienne Corboud Fumagalli, Vice President of EFPL.

INEOS is a chemical company with more than 15,000 employees and 50 manufacturing facilities around the world, with its headquarters based in Rolle, it is keen to work with local organisations such as the Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne.

INEOS a signé un partenariat de dix ans avec le programme EPFL Innogrant pour favoriser l'innovation et l'esprit d'entreprise en Suisse. INEOS apportera sa contribution financière aux projets à fort potentiel impliquant des étudiants chercheurs de l'EPFL et ses employés.

Le programme de l'EPFL Innogrant rentre dans le domaine des activités d'INEOS dans le canton de Vaud et le prix 'INEOS Innogrant' récompensera les projets innovants dans le domaine des technologies propres. 

Depuis 2005, les Innogrants ont contribué à la création de plus de 30 start-ups dans tous les domaines technologiques. "La création d’entreprise est l’un des piliers essentiels du transfert de technologie et de l’innovation et l’EPFL a conscience des défis rencontrés par les entrepreneurs. L’EPFL a permis de créer plus de 200 spin-offs depuis 20 ans et l’EPFL a ajouté les Innogrants à ses outils de soutien comme une première impulsion qui encourage la démarche entrepreneuriale dès la naissance de leurs premières idées." a déclaré Adrienne Corboud Fumagalli, vice-présidente de l’EPFL.

INEOS souhaite développer sa collaboration avec des organisations locales telles que l'Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne.
