Project Circle Technologies

Our Circular Recycling Technologies

No single technology can address every PVC waste stream. While mechanical recycling remains a cornerstone of PVC circularity, some materials require alternative approaches.

Project Circle brings together three complementary technologies designed to extend recycling possibilities, maximise resource recovery, and support a more circular PVC value chain.

Dissolution

Giving PVC a second life through highly selective recycling.

By using highly selective solvents, dissolution technology extracts and purifies PVC from materials such as fibres, wood, concrete and other plastics, while removing legacy additives and contaminants. The result is high-quality recycled PVC suitable for demanding applications.

Best suited for multi-layer or composite materials, waste streams containing fibres, waste containing legacy additives and closed-loop recycling applications.

Pyrolysis

Recovering valuable feedstocks from mixed plastic waste.

Pyrolysis transforms plastic waste into valuable feedstocks that can be reintroduced into chemical production processes.

Designed to process a wide range of PVC-containing waste streams, it recovers key building blocks that can be used to manufacture virgin-quality PVC, expanding recycling opportunities for materials that are difficult to sort mechanically.

Best suited for mixed plastic waste streams, materials difficult to sort mechanically and feedstock recycling applications.

Gasification

Transforming complex waste into the building blocks of new products.

Gasification uses high-temperature processing to convert complex waste streams containing PVC, ranging from mixed plastic waste to 100% PVC materials, into syngas and other valuable molecules that can be used to produce new plastics and chemicals.

By transforming waste into fundamental raw materials, gasification can help recover value from even highly heterogeneous waste streams.

Best suited for complex mixed waste, large-scale industrial recycling and materials with limited sorting potential.
