Battleground Manufacturing Complex

Located on the Houston ship channel east of Houston, Texas, the 121 hectare (300 acre) INEOS Battleground Manufacturing Complex (BMC) was originally built in 1956. The site is comprised of seven polyethylene lines; one polypropylene line; a 20 MW Cogen facility; and a state-of-the-art polyolefin technical center that supports research and development, technical services and quality assurance. In 2017 a new world-scale, joint venture (with Sasol) bimodal polyethylene unit was brought online to manufacture high density polyethylene.

The site enjoys direct access to main rail and trucking, and has close access to ocean shipping terminals for product delivery. Our products are used in the manufacture of a variety of important consumer products including: automotive parts, food and beverage containers, caps and closures, textiles and carpeting, pipe and fittings, geosynthetic materials, roofing materials, packaging and materials handling, toys, and hygienic and pharmaceuticals products and packaging. The site has received numerous awards in the areas of safety and environmental performance at both the state and local levels.
