Styrolution® PS 168N is selected for foamed sheets due to its high heat resistance, high molecular weight and dimensional stability. Due to the foaming, material usage can be reduced, thus saving costs and carbon footprint.

Food packaging foam
Styrolution® PS 168N is an ideal solution for foam packaging. It offers exceptionally high melt strength and increased ratio of extensional to shear viscosity. It can achieve approximately 10% density reduction and enable drawdown to lighter foam. Due to these properties, less plastic is required in production, yielding a sustainability and economic enhancement.
