The Tavaux industrial platform is made up of establishments classified as SEVESO by the regulations in force. As part of the PPI (Special Intervention Plan), the manufacturer is required to inform the public of the action to be taken in the event of an event that could have consequences outside the plant.


Risks related to the activities of the Tavaux platform

The leakage of gaseous substances, toxic by inhalation, is the main risk for the populations surrounding the site.

The PPI perimeter

The perimeter concerned by the PPI is located within a radius of 5.5 km around the industrial site, i.e.:

  • All the communes of: Abergement-La-Ronce, Aumur, Choisey, Gevry, Molay, Samerey, Tavaux, Damparis
  • Part of the communes of: Champdivers, Champvans, Dole, Foucherans, Saint-Aubin
