This summary of maintenance events that are disclosed on this page are primarily those that could impact the operation of FPS Customers and in addition may have the potential to significantly affect the prices of certain "wholesale energy products".

Planned Maintenance Programme Interim Update for Train 3 & GAEL (17th April 2021) 

2021

GAEL emergent work: now complete, system returned to service for all GAEL users.

Train 3 TAR: complete, returned to service.

Pipeline / Kinneil (Cruden Bay) entry facilities (3 weeks): commencing 27th May to 16th June. Impact: FPS Shutdown, all FPS users

GAEL Valve Project (32 days): commencing 27th May to 27th June. Impact: GAEL Users shutdown.

Cruden Bay NGL HIPPS test (1Q / 2Q, duration: hours). Impact: No export from St Fergus terminals. 

KLPG TAR / Old Lock Berth Outage: start date 16th August, duration 6 - 8 weeks, first outage since start up.  Impact : no import or export of C3 or C4.

 

2022

Trains 1 & 2 Flare System outage (mid August, 8 weeks). No impact on throughput expected, but subject to actual customer demand (potential restrictions due to reduced gas handling capacity).

Usual statutory checks (1Q, 3Q, duration 1 day) - Unity, Forties Charlie, Cruden Bay and KLPG/Old Lock Berth.

No major operational activity impacting customers currently planned in 2022.

 

2023

Usual statutory checks (1Q, 3Q, duration 1 day) - Unity, Forties Charlie, Cruden Bay and KLPG/Old Lock Berth.

No major operational activity impacting customers currently planned in 2023.
