INEOS updates Hull and Humber Chamber of Commerce
INEOS group communications manager, Richard Longden, addressed the Hull and Humber Chamber of Commerce’s annual meeting in early March to provide an update on the company’s plans following its recent acquisition of the bp petrochemicals business. The deal included the global INEOS Acetyls business, based in Saltend, Hull.

INEOS employs over 300 people in Saltend and supplies a wide range of downstream industries such as food, pharmaceuticals, paints, adhesives and packaging. It has played a critical role through the COVID-19 pandemic, producing raw materials used in medications, human insulin, disinfectant and protective clothing.
