INEOS Styrolution donates €11,800 to "Deutsche Leukämie-Forschungshilfe" in Mannheim

Frankfurt, Germany

The "Deutsche Leukämie-Forschungshilfe – Aktion für krebskranke Kinder, OV Mannheim e.V." is dedicated to helping families with a child suffering from leukemia. They offer a wide range of services to affected families including therapies and entertainment for children in hospital. They also support families to be close to their children, when they have to stay in hospital.

The DLFH was founded in 1979 to help children and their families. INEOS Styrolution in Ludwigshafen has a long-lasting relationship with the organization supporting them whenever possible.

Stefan Kaminsky, INEOS Styrolution’s Site Director in Ludwigshafen, says: “We admire all members of this organization for their dedication. It is an inspiration also for us. This year, we were able to support them in two ways. In addition to a corporate donation of €11,800, we invited our own employees to donate as well and I am very pleased about the additional €1,000 from our colleagues.”

Dr. Gregor von Komorowski, Chairman of the association adds: “Children suffering from leukemia carried yet another burden during the pandemic. The donation helps to develop and offer optimised psychosocial care for these children. We thank the INEOS team in Ludwigshafen for their support.”

The corporate donation was made possible by a global INEOS Community Fund established by INEOS Chairman Sir Jim Ratcliffe. The fund enables INEOS sites across the world to support charitable organisations doing vital work in their local communities.
