The INEOS application process is much more personal than a typical company of our size, and we believe this differentiates us from the rest. We do not filter out applications using automated interviews, or psychometric testing. The process will vary depending on the business and country you are applying to, but it will include face-to-face interviews, meeting senior managers, and you may be invited to take part in an assessment centre day.
Our Core Commercial Programme opens in October and starts with an application form, followed by pre-screening questions. Successful applicants will be invited to a telephone interview with a member of the graduate team and an in-country assessment centre. The final interviews are held at one of our corporate HQ’s and they comprise an analysis and presentation exercise, and further face to face interviews with Board members from a variety of INEOS businesses. The process is designed for us to get to know you and assess not just your technical capability but your overall “fit” for INEOS. You will also get a good feel for us and if we suit you, by getting the opportunity to meet with other graduates on the programme. The whole process is generally completed within 3-4 months, and we aim to complete assessment centres prior to the Christmas holidays. We recruit on a rolling basis, so we advise getting your application in early so you do not miss out.
When applying for this scheme, you will see job postings for the Programme stating to apply to either the UK, Belgium or Germany and ROW. You should apply to whichever country you are currently residing in. This ensures that your application is processed by the local HR team. It has no bearing on the location of your first role, which will be in the UK, Belgium or Germany depending on business requirements. We recruit on a rolling basis, so we advise getting your application in early so you do not miss out.
Direct Entry programmes could be advertised at any point throughout the year, so keep an eye out on what opportunities we currently have listed.
