BIOVYN™ is the world's first commercially available bio-attrituted PVC. Through a mass balance approach, 100% of the fossil feedstock required for its production is replaced with sustainably sourced biomass.
The result is a PVC with a carbon footprint more than 90% lower than conventional suspension PVC.
BIOVYN™ is certified by the Roundtable on Sustainable Biomaterials (RSB), one of the world's most respected sustainability certification schemes, providing independent verification of its renewable credentials.
Certified Production Sites
Following the successful launch and certification of BIOVYN™ at our Rheinberg site in Germany in 2019, RSB certification has been extended to other European production sites:
- Rheinberg, Germany (since 2019)
- Jemeppe, Belgium (since 2020)
