Sulphur is the key starting material for the manufacture of sulphuric acid, oleum, sulphur dioxide and sulphur trioxide.
Sulphur chemicals have many uses including to dechlorinate municipal wastewater and to make pulp & paper, power, and textiles. It is also used as a preservative and reducing agent. Sulphur is used in hand sanitizer, cleaning agents and detergents.
Sulphur dioxide (SO2) is available in a liquefied form, under pressure using a production process that generates high purity on-purpose sulphur dioxide by the reaction of pure oxygen with sulphur. This process supports a more efficient and environmentally friendly production process.
