Code of Conduct
Policies and commitments
INEOS is a signatory to the United Nations Global Compact, the International Council of Chemical Associations Responsible Care Global Charter, and Operation Clean Sweep. By participating in these initiatives, we have pledged to protect human rights, respect the environment, work against corruption, manage chemicals responsibly, prevent plastic pellet loss, and advance sustainable development. In line with these commitments, we support the Paris Agreement to keep global warming well below 2°C—and ideally below 1.5°C—and in collaboration with governments and other stakeholders we aim to reach net-zero emissions by 2050.
International Council of Chemical Associations Responsible Care
INEOS businesses and employees are expected to adhere to our Code of Conduct. It defines our approach to health and safety, environmental protection, labour practices, human rights, and ethical business conduct based on internationally recognised standards. We also have a group Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality policy and a Supplier Code of Conduct that we expect our suppliers to follow to manage sustainability impacts in our value chain.
