INEOS’ Sir Jim Ratcliffe is co-owner of Manchester United with sporting control. INEOS wholly owns FC Lausanne-Sport in the Swiss Super League. INEOS also owns a minority interest (c.17%) in OGC Nice in French Ligue 1*.

INEOS products in football

We produce some of the key chemicals and compounds that are fundamental to football. This includes high density polyethylene in artificial grass, PVC used in footballs, plastics in football boots, chemicals used to make polyester for clothing and butane that goes into the referee’s vanishing spray, polypropylene in stadium seats and goal nets, rubber, and composites in stadium construction.
