INOVYN Sverige AB intends to apply to the Land and Environment Court for a permit to increase the production of PVC. The change will mainly involve the installation and operation of a new production line, operational optimizations and increased handling of vinyl chloride monomer (VCM) and other chemicals. The application concerns a so-called amendment permit to the operation's already existing environmental permit.
Preliminarily, the change is expected to give rise to a limited increase in environmental impact in the form of increased transport by truck and ship and increased air emissions. In addition, noise sources will be added and the amount of water and the load to the company's treatment plant will increase slightly, but this is not preliminarily expected to result in increased noise levels or emissions to water.
The company invites you who are interested in knowing more about the planned measures and operations to a written consultation. You will also have the opportunity to submit comments on the planned measures and activities in order to influence the work on the environmental impact assessment and the application.
The company has prepared a consultation document, which describes the scope, design and environmental impact of the measures, as well as the content and design of the environmental impact assessment.
