Timmins

The Timmins Site was built in 2016 to support the mining industry in Eastern Canada with local production of Sodium Dioxide. The facility uses Ineos Calabrian proprietary SO2 clean process

Sulfur dioxide is used in the pulp & paper industry and also in gold mining as a primary wastewater treatment chemical to destroy the cyanide after use in the leaching process. Customers in Eastern Canada are now able to source material within the region and help support the local economy. The site occupies 5 acres and employs around 20 people.
