We love a challenge. Which is why we decided to take on one of the last remaining barriers in modern athletics, breaking the two-hour barrier in the marathon. Attempted by others, conquered by INEOS. The 1:59 Challenge united top talent from across INEOS, supporting Eliud Kipchoge to run 1:59:40.2 in Vienna on 12 October 2019. Through grit, rigour, innovation and human performance, the impossible became reality.
