In February 2026, INEOS Electrochemical Solutions were shortlisted in the Greater Manchester Connected Innovators category for our leadership within the regional innovation ecosystem and our collaboration through the Greater Manchester Electrochemical Hydrogen Cluster (GMEHC).
Our nomination highlighted our progress in developing catalyst‑coated separator technology and shaping the pathway from concept to validated prototypes, leveraging our long-standing chlor‑alkali expertise.
At the subsequent awards event in March 2026, judges praised INEOS for demonstrating not only technical excellence but also a clear commitment to scalable, commercially meaningful innovation that supports the wider green hydrogen transition. The ‘Highly Commended’ recognition reflects the strength of our partnerships, the quality of our engineering, and our ambition to accelerate industrial decarbonisation.
This achievement reinforces INEOS Electrochemical Solutions’ position as a leader within the UK’s rapidly evolving hydrogen landscape and strengthens our drive to bring advanced electrochemical technologies to market.
We extend our thanks to our project partners, the GMEHC community, and all who supported our nomination. We look forward to continuing our mission to innovate, collaborate, and elevate clean‑energy technology.
