INEOS 1:59 Challenge achieved the first ever sub-2-hour marathon

On 12th October 2019 in Vienna, Austria, NN Running Team frontman Eliud Kipchoge and INEOS made history. Kipchoge, following a perfectly executed strategy devised by Sir Dave Brailsford and the INEOS 1:59 Performance Team, became the first person to achieve the barrier-breaking sub-two-hour marathon, finishing in a remarkable time of 1:59:40.2.
