Porsgrunn
INOVYN's PVC plant at Porsgrunn is located in the Herøya Industrial Park of Norway. The industrial site was established by Norsk Hydro in 1928-29 for the production of fertiliser.
Over the years the area has undergone substantial changes, from being purely a Norsk Hydro production facility to its current status as an open industrial park. PVC has been produced at the site since 1950 and the PVC-assets are connected with the VCM-assets at Rafnes through a pipeline in a tunnel under the Frierfjord. The Porsgrunn site also hosts INOVYN RTE-facilities. The site has management systems certified by ISO 9001 on quality and ISO 14001 on environment.
