Sarralbe

Sarralbe is located on the banks of the River Sarre in the Eastern French region of Lorraine, close to Germany and sits on 51 hectares. Commissioned by Solvay in 1970, the site produces nearly 300ktpa of specialty HDPE/PP and boasts a wealth of technologies.

These include our market-leading HDPE bimodal technology, PP heat seal technology and Ziegler catalyst technology used by HDPE manufacturer world-wide. As a consequence, Sarralbe is the most differentiated of all polymer sites operated by INEOS O&P in Europe located in close proximity to a high quality customer base. The polymers produced at Sarralbe play a very important role in our every-day lives, from HDPE pipe networks that supply natural gas to our homes and factories, to HDPE organoleptic caps and closures. Long-life milk, a primary foodstuff, is delivered to our supermarkets in light-weight bottles also made from our HDPE. Our PP provides highly reliable seals to ensure optimum food self-life and taste.

The Sarralbe Plant has certified quality and environmental management systems according to ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015 international standards.
