Norway’s largest manufacturer and supplier of plastic pipe systems, Pipelife launched a new generation of pipes.
The new range will be based on renewable bio-based raw materials that do not compete with food production.
The new state of the art 750,000 tonnes unit is scheduled to be completed in 2021, the location will also optimise the efficiency of the plant.
The new plant will produce 1.2 billion pounds of EO (circa 520kt). The plant is expected to be operational in 2023.
The ELTEX® PF metallocene product range will be added to the well established existing LLDPE product mix.

The 350 KTA Innovene PP plant and the 250 KTA Innovene G plant will produce a wide range of products to serve China’s growing demand.
The deal, which was announced in May 2014, presents a strategic opportunity for both parties and is highly complementary to their growth strategy.
